My Regimen

What I've learned so far is moisturise moisturise moisturise! So that's exactly what I'm doing right now.
I'm started with the bare minimum and will slowly add products to my regimen (once I figure out how they work)

Daily
Moisturise with Neutrogena Triple Moisture SilkTouch Leave-in Cream or Jane Carter Leave-in or Prettywitty77 moisturizing mix. Seal with Sweet Almond Oil and Castor oil mix.

Winter Daily - Prettywitty77 moisturizing mix. Seal with a dap of castor oil. It really helps retain moisture and this current regimen makes my hair really soft.
I'm currently trying Hairveda Red Tea moisturizer and that's working amazing as well

Weekly (At home)

Wash with Juico Moisturizing shampoo. Will be using Shea Moisture when my hair needs some protein love. I'm also trying Organix Moroccan Argan oil shampoo.
Condition with ORS replenishing conditioner or Aussie Moist 3 minute miracle

I just wrap my hair in a micro fiber towel so that it dries faster.

Use daily moisturizing products on hair.
When I'm feeling extra poofy I use the tension method with my dryer on cool until 75%-80% dry.
Castor oil on edges and nape to promote hair growth.

Bi-Weekly (At Salon)

Take myself over to my hairdresser for some protein treatment, a couple of laughs and second person confirmation that I'm doing the right thing with my hair.

Some women opt to go at this HHJ (Healthy Hair Journey) by themselves. I'll admit that I don't know enough to do it by myself. I've decided to trust my hairdresser on this journey.

Health and Body

Key to healthy hair growth is a good diet, exercise and focus. I'm trying!

1. Water! I'm currently downing 6 of the 8 recommended glasses of water. I've been reading that the amount of water really depends on your body type. 6 seems to work for me right now. I might increase it in the future.

2. Vitamins! I'm currently taking a new hair vitamin I discovered called Manetabolism. Manetabolism is the truth! My hair is growing amazingly well. Very happy.

3. Exercise! Exercise gets the blood pumping, helps keep me stress free and helps me sleep which is good because my hair seems to shed more when I'm stressed, tired or anxious.

4. Positive Thought! I found this lovely affirmation that I've put on my bathroom mirror. I'm hoping it'll keep my motivated and positive as I work towards my goals.

I Have Long, Thick, Healthy, Luscious Hair
