Ok. Before I start, I just want to say...I was the biggest skeptic about hair growth vitamins. I tried biotin for a couple of months and the only things that grew were my nails and my cystic acne (which at my age is not pretty). My encounter with JBCO

  JBCO = Jamaica Black Castor Oil             I’ve been fighting the good fight against split ends and breakage. They seem to be winning but I will prevail! One of the things my hairdresser suggested is a deep oil conditioning and treatment. So I went over to get my hair did. She used JBCO and this awesomely named oil mixture called Complex 5 (you can check it out HERE on Amazon). My hair feels stronger and there’s lots less shedding buuuuut I had an unfortunate reaction to one of these two oils. I suspect the JBCO because I’ve read about other people having the same reaction. My scalp began to itch! I didn’t notice at first. I just thought it was a few random itches.  But when I started scratching at work!! This Max Hydration Method Thing

@maxhydrationmethod.blogspot.com   Now that I've fully committed to this natural thing I want to go all the way. Get my hair into the best shape it can be...no matter how strange or multi-stepped the process might be (doesn't mean I won't try and make it simple coz I'm lazy). My forays into natural-land keep leading me to the max hydration method which is supposed to feed moisture to your curls (especially 4c) to get them to the maximum level of moisture they can get (hence the name).  We all know well moisturized hair is easier to detangle, style etc so this can only be a good thing. Adding in the satisfaction for 4c hair owners to finally see some "pop" in our often mangled curls means results for max hydration has been well documented. So I won't add to the noise. What I am curious about are things that are rarely mentioned. How to tweak the formulas, how to apply the damn clay wash and how to slot it into your wash day routine so it doesn...
